Lyme Regis Development Trust
The Lyme Regis Development Trust (LRDT) works with the Town Council on issues such as the shortage of low cost housing, the poor provision of youth services and the seasonal nature of employment in the town.
The LRDT has been responsible for developing the annual Fossil Festival in May and the ArtsFest in September / October, partly in order to encourage out of season visitors.
The Development Trust is now in charge of re-opening the former Club for Young People, now called The Hub as a thriving centre for young people in Lyme Regis.
The Development Trust runs the LymeNet IT and training centre. Both are based at the St Michael's Business Centre.
