These photographs were taken during Phase 3 of the Lyme Regis coastal protection works which were completed in 2007 and involved the reconstruction of the beach and gardens to prevent erosion by the sea and land slips.

An exhibition of these photographs was held as part of the 2007 Rising Seas Lyme Regis Fossil Festival at the Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis. A book of these photographs is planned.

Phase IV of the coastal protection works is starting in 2013, focused on the East Cliff section of the Lyme Regis coastal strip.
